CD Archery Weights

We started this adventure into barebow innovation in the fall of 2014.   As they say, "Necessity is the mother of invention!"  We felt it was necessary to do what no one else would do - build a barebow riser right here in the USA.

 

So Calvin Smock and I, Dewayne Martin, knew we had a big advantage that most other manufacturers do not.  We are serious archers that know exactly what we want.  We know how a bow is supposed to feel and how it is supposed to shoot.

 

Calvin's son, Kevin Smock, had worked as a Product Designer for other companies as well as an archery company so we were able to show him exactly how we wanted this to be built.  We wanted it to balance with no weights or stabilizers.  He created the WF (weight forward) series. We presented the prototype to the best barebow archers in the U.S.  John Demmer III, Jennifer Stoner, Jared Neal, Alan Eagleton and Gary and Sandy McCain all were able to test it for at least a week.  Their reports back to us were all considered.  A few changes were made before first production.

 

We feel we have the ONLY choice for a Barebow riser out there today to meet the specifications of today's serious and competitive shooter.  And for the not so serious, it will give you the confidence of shooting a proven winner.
